IKEA @ Alexandra

On one of those rare weekends on which Boyfriend and I have to ourselves, we decided to behave like the ordinary married couple by hitting IKEA to window-shop and, more importantly, to try out the Swedish palette offered. After hearing alot about the fantastic beef/pork meatballs they serve (which I’m not too inclined to try), I just need to get my hands on some of their gastronomical wonders.

Salmon Salad

Yum. At SGD 5, it’s a good deal if you’re a small eater, or you’re craving for a tea-time option.

Chicken and mash

The Boyfriend, like all carnivorous men out there who love to fill themselves up with wholesome meat, opted for a generous portion of chicken thigh, mash potato and coleslaw @ SGD 7.50. From the way Boyfriend was wolfing down his meal, he definitely loved his chicken and mash. The chicken didn’t look dry nor too oily, unlike BBQ-ed or fried options.
