Fruit Paradise @ Raffles City

You know how food porn is like, sometimes. Looks good, tastes bad. The tarts at Fruit Paradise weren’t bad tasting, but I just couldn’t get over the fact that I had been enticed like an innocent little girl into the outlet by those plastic tart models. Boyfriend and I chose Banana Chocolate and Mango respectively, because I like my tart with fruits. But the taste was nothing like the plastic figurines promised. The cream on the inside was thick and tasteless, and tasted more like the product of mixing talcum powder with water (don’t ask me how I know how that concoction tasted like). They were stingy with the fruits, so I had more cream than fruit on my fruit tart, which was really disappointing.

The epitome of ‘looks can be deceiving’. The udon was impressive, though. Despite being dressed with just a piece of kitsune, fishcake and loads of spring onion, the udon was springy and the soup base was light. Boyfriend slurped it all up.
Anyway, if you wanna try your luck, it’s$7.80 a slice, and $80 for a full pie. I felt that I just made Boyfriend throw alot of money down the drain.

Overall:
